ParkNOW! launched as the first mobile parking system in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan AreaParkNOW is launched in Montgomery County, MD, thus becoming the first mobile parking system in use in the state of Maryland. Montgomery County has 950,000 inhabitants and is one of the most affluent counties in the U.S.A. It also has the highest percentage in the nation of residents over 25 years old who hold a post-graduate degree. Montgomery County is a part of both the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area and the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. The system is initially applied in selected locations in Bethesda, central Montgomery County. |
